We have always had dogs. Dogs, cows, and horses seem to automatically make a trio. Shortly after I married Larry we started raising dogs for our own use. We raise a good "using" dog. So far we do not raise registered dogs, although we do have some purebred border collies. But most of our dogs are border collie crosses.

Our dogs, like our horses, are used as we're training them. We like dogs that think and can make decisions, but that also listen for commands. We feel that we put out a good cowboy/working dog.

"Blue" will be ready for sale this summer. He will be a year old 4/01/03.
He follows commands already, and has a strong interest in cattle. He is very smart and quick to learn. A real pleaser.

"Floppy" will be 3 years old 4/10/03. She is well trained, but very hyper and needs LOTS of work. She does not bite very often, but makes all the right moves and definetely gets the job done. She does bark some. Floppy is a purebred border collie.

"Bubba" is one of our using dogs. He has been a top dog and an awesome help. He is 6 now and ready to slow down and let the younger dogs take over. We have raised a lot of good cowdogs from his bloodline. Stub is one of his pups.

"Stubb" will be a year old 5/10/03. She is very smart and coming along well. She is out of our latest litter, and is a border collie cross. At this time, I do not have any plans of selling her.
